Bass player Ed Ball & drummer Lou Johnson have been playing together in different bands over the last 10 years and more recently been trying to find a quality guitar player who would fit in with what they wanted to do musically......tasty tunes to include originals with no limitations and no drama!

One of their former bands, Sole Survivor, decided to get together one more time to perform at a benefit gig in March 2010. Also on the bill was Local Aliens led by guitarist Matt Wilson. The three of them met and talked to each other in between sets and hit it off, eight weeks later, a few phone calls, and after just one rehearsal together they formed... The Groove Brothers.

The Groove Brothers had great success at their first gig of 2011 at O'Neal's Tavern in Landen, OH. They continue to constantly reheare and prepare for upcoming 2011 events!
